Dezeen Showroom: an iconic postmodernist style chair upholstered in new colourways is among nine new products featured on Dezeen Showroom.
Six new colourways have been released for Norwegian furniture brand Varier‘s iconic Ekstrem chair, which is upholstered with custom-made knit fabric.
Users can now choose between Blossom, Scarlet, Umber, Sand, Olive and Pool, in addition to previously-released Sulphur and Black.
Ekstrem was recently featured on Dezeen Showroom alongside outdoor tables with legs made from thick, cylindrical industrial tubing and a statement kitchen that combines brass with marble in one dynamic composition.

Dombolo outdoor tables by Haldane
Thick industrial tubing is transformed into chunky table legs in this series of tables by South African designer Haldane Martin for his furniture brand Haldane.
Dombolo outdoor tables comprise engineered stone tabletops and the thick stainless steel legs. Both components can be specified in a choice of coloured finishes.
Liv tables by Interesting Times Gang x Ingridsdotter
Together with design brand Ingridsdotter, Swedish studio Interesting Times Gang has released a duo of tables that offer a contemporary take on Jonas Bohlin’s 1997 Liv table.
The original base supports two new tabletops: one – named Tundra – is made out of recycled takeaway packing, and the other – named Mahalo – is made from discarded fishing nets.
South Korean brand Vobia has created a stainless steel kitchen that is designed to be decorated with marks and scratches over years of use.
The Ark T5 kitchen has a composition made up of clean lines and extruded edges across its kitchen island and wall unit components.
Nomad rugs by Alejandra Gandía-Blasco Lloret for Gan
Made out of 100 per cent recycled PET plastic, designer Alejandra Gandía-Blasco Lloret created a series of rugs for Gan that aim to bring domestic comfort to the outdoors.
Nomad rugs come in various textural patterns and can be paired with matching poufs and cushions to facilitate open air lounging.
Burnished brass and highly striated marble combine in this characterful kitchen by British design brand Eggersmann.
The Skywalk kitchen is made distinctive by its two-tone aesthetic made up of two different yet equally rich materials.
Plaster wall covering by Designtex
Hand-trowelled plaster, bark and cork are mimicked in this wall covering by US brand Designtex.
The Plaster wall covering appears highly textural however it is completely smooth, aiming to add visual interest to interiors while being easy to clean.
Belgian brand Modulyss has released a pattern for its carpet tiles that has a mottled appearance that recalls the way that water transforms surfaces.
In-house designer Joris Peutz created the Rust carpet tiles, which come in a choice of 12 colour variations to suit a range of interior design schemes.
Sage cordless lamps by Zafferano America
Design brand Zafferano America has added a soothing grey-green colourway option to its collection of tabletop cordless lamps.
Named Sage, the hue can now be applied to its plethora of lamps, which can be dimmed, used indoors and outdoors, controlled by touch and have their light temperatures adjusted.
