Promotion: furniture brand Stellar Works has unveiled a website highlighting its bespoke projects, including its custom-made furniture designed for Nuri Steakhouse in Dallas, Texas.

Stellar Works‘ website introduces the brand’s bespoke arm. It features a digital archive of past and recent, custom-manufactured projects, ranging from steakhouses and lobbies to terraces and hotel rooms.

The site highlights the scope of the brand’s offerings, from designing custom-made furniture to curating bespoke interiors to feature its existing furniture collections by collaborators, including Yabu Pushelberg, AvroKO and Neri&Hu.

“We’ve reached an important milestone in Stellar Works’ development as a brand,” Daisuke Hironaka, Stellar Works CEO told Dezeen. “Throughout the years, our collaborations with top architects and interior designers and the impeccably crafted custom furniture we create together have been at the core of what we do.”

“Now, after a decade of global growth, we’ve built a strong portfolio of Bespoke projects, and we felt it was high time we shared these with the world,” Hironaka continued.

“This new website highlights our partnerships and gives future collaborators a clear picture of what’s possible with our factory’s custom manufacturing.”

The site also provides information on the process behind Stellar Works’ bespoke projects, from the conception of client briefs to the creation of furniture prototypes, fabrication and installation.

It details the brand’s range of craftsmanship offerings, including leatherwork, woodworking and stonework, amongst others.

One example is Nuri Steakhouse in Dallas, designed by interior firm AvroKO. Here Stellar Works created custom-made dining chairs and banquettes for the restaurant, which included the Nuri Dining Chair, comprising a velvet-covered backrest with a wooden frame on brass finials.

The brand’s Brightliner Sloane Dining Chairs were also chosen for the project, which have walnut frames designed to gently embrace the sitter.

“Each of these distinct yet visually cohesive spaces presents an experience for guests that’s a cut above the rest,” stated Stellar Works of Nuri Steakhouse.

Another example is the five-star hotel Dusit Thani Bangkok designed by Hong Kong-based design studio André Fu Studio, which “reinterprets traditional Thai design with a contemporary twist”.

Stellar Works designed and constructed the hotel’s guest rooms, outdoor furniture and soft seating. The Lunar Dining Chair, fabricated by Stellar Works and designed by Space Copenhagen was also chosen for the project, alongside the Arc Sofa Three Seater designed by Hallgeir Homstvedt.

“The newly renovated hotel is furnished entirely by Stellar Works, creating a holistic example of how the brand can completely transform and elevate a large-scale project through thoughtfully designed bespoke products,” said Stellar Works of Dusit Thani Bangkok.

Stellar Works also created the soft seating and guest rooms for the AC Hotel Downtown LA. Many pieces from the brand’s furniture collections were also picked for the project, including the Taylor Bar Chair, Blink Dining Chair and Taylor Dining Chair – all designed by Yabu Pushelberg. Ren Dining Armchair designed by Space Copenhagen was also used.

These items were chosen to complement the hotel’s interiors, influenced by both Scandinavian and Spanish design, whilst being modelled on artists’ lofts in the former LA warehouses.
