Dezeen Showroom: designed by Italian tapware brand Cristina Rubinetterie, the Faro mixer combines classic and modern forms to give it a sculptural presence.

Made from brass, the Faro mixer is distinguished by an interplay of cylindrical shapes of different diameters, creating visual interest without being overly decorative.

“Like the lighthouse that dominates the coasts, the Faro series emerges as a point of reference in the bathroom environment,” said Cristina Rubinetterie. “It doesn’t just illuminate but defines, guides and adds character.”

The Faro mixer taps are available in versions for the sink, bathtub and shower, and the finish options include two of Cristina Rubinetterie’s new offerings: Brushed Matte Antique Brass and Infinity Black PVD.

Brushed Matte Antique Brass has a warm, textured, timeless character while Infinity Black PVD has a glossy black finish that the brand says has an extraordinary intensity.
