Dezeen Showroom: following the gloomy winter season, we’ve pulled together a series of outdoor furnishings published on Dezeen Showroom including seating, tables and umbrellas.

Popular materials currently being used in the manufacturing of outdoor furniture include iroko wood – a type of hardwood native to tropical regions in Africa – as well as steel and aluminium.

The following selection includes pieces made from less commonplace materials too, such as a seat made from upcycled fire hoses and a table with legs made from thick stainless steel agricultural tubing.

Dezeen Showroom published products and furnishings for outdoor dining and living on behalf of a spectrum of global design brands, manufacturers and craftspeople.
