Dezeen Showroom: geometric patterns taken from a computational script characterise this collection of lamps created by designer Le Brimet for Portuguese brand Pixom.

The collection, named Filling Curves, utilises the Gosper curve algorithm to create continuous, layered surface patterns that “sculpt and diffuse light in dynamic ways”.

The lamp’s design is made using a computational script to produce intricate, continuous patterns

The collection is made using recycled PETg plastic, chosen for its translucent qualities to enhance illumination and the lamps’ intricate form.

Anchored by an aluminium base, the pieces are available as floor and table lamps, with varied sizing options available to suit different spaces.

The lamp features customisable hues, controlled using a mobile app

A mobile app controls the lighting, with options to alter its intensity and hue to tailor ambience to personal preference.

“Embodying the principles of human-centred design, this piece aspires to enhance well-being through both form and function,” said Pixom.
