A Royal Institute of British Architects survey has found that many UK architecture professionals aren’t being paid the Real Living Wage, despite it being a requirement for all RIBA chartered practices.
“Low wages, combined with unpaid extra hours, mean that many are not receiving the Real Living Wage and are having to rely on other sources of income to make ends meet,” said RIBA.

This week’s newsletter also features modular refugee shelters created by Nigerian startup AllSpace, a series of hand-blown crystal vases launched by Czech glassworks Moser and The Frick Collection renovation by Selldorf Architects.
