Promotion: German brand Grohe presented an installation at this year’s Milan design week, showcasing a range of bathroom products designed as precision-crafted artefacts that “seamlessly blend form, function and impact”.

The Grohe Aqua Gallery, which took place from 8 to 13 April, aimed to combine themes of design, sustainability and the connection between humans and water.

“The Grohe Aqua Gallery reflects the brand’s commitment to shaping a future where design, functionality and responsibility coexist in perfect harmony, crafting the products and experiences that enable people to experience the pure joy of water,” said Patrick Speck, leader of LIXIL Global Design EMENA.

One of the products on display was Grohe Purefoam, featuring proprietary technology that mixes the “perfect balance” of water and Kinuami soap to deliver a cocooning foam.

Grohe explained that the product creates a revolutionary, vertical bath-like experience that envelops users in a unique skincare sensation.

“Grohe Purefoam invites users to rediscover their shower through a one-of-a-kind sensory experience that elevates the daily shower routine,” said Speck.

Also at the Aqua Gallery was the Essence Crafted Lever faucet, which aims to add a sense of luxury to bathrooms.

Available in a range of colours, the tap has a slim silhouette with gently curving lines.

Designed to appear as if defying gravity, Grohe’s Allure Gravity range is defined by sleek, horizontal, cantilevering lines.

Users can customise the collection with cover plates made from different materials, including Caesarstone quartz, coloured glass or a reflective mirror surface.

“Grohe Allure Gravity gives designers, architects and their clients the utmost freedom to bring their bathroom visions to life,” said Speck. “Its design with confident planes and intricate shapes that seemingly levitate is surpassed only by its unmatched customisation possibilities.”

“With its flexibility to tailor every detail, Grohe Allure Gravity enables a truly bespoke approach to wellbeing, creating a space that is both restorative and uniquely yours,” he continued.
