Dezeen Showroom: a tile informed by the appearance of limestone has been released recently by Italian surfaces manufacturer Ceramiche Keope.
Grace tiles have a combination of warm- and cool-toned patches that Ceramiche Keope intended to encapsulate limestone originating in Saint Antoine d’Auberoche in southwest France.

According to the brand, this specific type of limestone has been used in architecture for thousands of years, being especially popular in 19th-century Europe.
Minute surface details create a realistic appearance, as does two-tone colourways that contain various shades of beiges and greys.

“Three tonal pairs define the collection’s palette: the earthy greys of Grey and Clay, the neutral greys of Silver and Iron and the warm tones of Ivory and Beige,” said the brand.
“At the heart of the palette is White, with its pure, essential style, as well as the coolest shade in the collection that harmonises with all the others.”
The versatile tiles can be used both inside and outside on walls and floors, as well as across public, commercial and residential spaces.
