Dezeen Showroom: designer Gibson Karlo has created a collection of soft-edged aluminium tables for Australian brand DesignByThem, set to launch during 3 Days of Design 2025.

Designed to adapt to any room, the collection by Karlo comprises the Twill Tables and Twill Pedestal Tables, which comprise side, coffee, bar and dining variations.

The tables have a simple form defined by round-edged table tops and matching bases. These are raised either on a single pedestal base or four separate legs.

“The new rounded square and rectangle tops create a soft simplified silhouette whilst preserving a playful aesthetic,” said DesignByThem.

Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, each table is built of a powder coated aluminium top and leg, and an e-coated steel base plate.

The collection comes available a range of selected colours including Rust Red, Pale Eucalypt, Silk Grey, Soft White and Black.

The tables are the aesthetic counterpart of the brand’s wooden Twill chair, which was published on Dezeen Showroom in 2023.
