    Plans to make the Lincoln Center in New York “more welcoming” have been released

    Proposed projects in New York range from a jail in the Bronx to Brooklyn housing designed by BIG, an amusement-park style ride atop the Torch supertall tower in Manhattan and plans to transform the Lincoln Center.

    On the west coast, The Small Lots, Big Impacts competition in Los Angeles, which asked architects to develop starter house concepts for vacant lots across the city, revealed its winners.

    In other news, the AIA revealed the winners of its 2025 Architecture Awards and the second week in June has been officially named Chicago Design Week.
