    This week foxes inhabited BIG and Heatherwick's landscraper

    This week on Dezeen, it was reported that foxes have inhabited the rooftop gardens of Google’s landscaper office in London.

    Nearing completion in Kings Cross, the office by BIG and Heatherwick Studio has been inhabited by urban foxes that are digging burrows into its manicured terraces.

    According to a Google spokesperson, the damage caused is minimal, with fox sighting “pretty common” across construction sites.

    In design news, we reported from 3 Days of Design festival in Copenhagen, leading with a roundup of 10 things not to be missed at the event.

    Among those exhibiting at the fair was British designer John Pawson, who unveiled a paint collection of 14 “perfect white” hues for locally-based collective Bleo.

    Also on show was a collection of ottoman chairs that resemble giant palm fronds, designed by Kusheda Mensah for Swedish furniture brand Hem.

    Also this week, Dezeen spoke with Mexican architect Frida Escobedo, who is the first woman to design a wing at the Met, about her limestone-clad design.

    According to Escobedo, the scheme is set to bring exclusive views of the neighbouring Central Park “back to the public”.

    In other architecture news, we reported on architecture’s most important international events – exploring whether this year’s Venice Architecture Biennale is being overshadowed by the Expo 2025 Osaka.

    According to RAU Architects’ Marta Roy, the World Expo “offers architects a unique opportunity that goes beyond” the limits of the Venice Architecture Biennale.
