The latest edition of our Dezeen Debate newsletter features a timber extension by architectural studio Hé! Subscribe to Dezeen Debate now.

Belgian architectural studio Hé! added a timber extension to a home on the outskirts of Brussels, designed to draw in natural light and support a mature wisteria tree.

Commenters shared mixed reactions to the project, with one describing it as “a warm project full of soul”. At the same time, another partly agreed, noting, “The front facade is very unsuccessful, kinda feels like a clean, but rushed, extension”.
