The Twentieth Century Society released its latest Risk List, naming 10 UK buildings at risk of demolition – including three built around the turn of the century.
“This year’s list demonstrates how the Twentieth Century Society is now decisively moving into the 21st century,” said Twentieth Century Society director Catherine Croft.
This week’s newsletter also features a bird feeder by Foster + Partners Industrial Design, a Brazilian skyscraper wrapped in a concrete exoskeleton, and Jil Sander’s reinterpretation of Marcel Breuer’s classic S 64 chair.
