Dezeen Awards has been shortlisted for three awards, while Dezeen’s editor Tom Ravenscroft, deputy editor Cajsa Carlson, features editor Nat Barker and architecture reporter Amy Peacock are all in the running for editorial awards.

Dezeen has been shortlisted for a pair of prestigious Professional Publishers Association (PPA) awards, with Ravenscroft a finalist in the Editor of the Year category and Dezeen Awards a finalist in the Event of the Year category.

Dezeen Awards was also recognised twice at the Conference and Events Awards, where it has been shortlisted in both the Awards Event of the Year and Best Development of an Existing Award categories.

    Trio of BSME shortlistings

The work of Dezeen’s editorial team was recognised at the British Society of Magazine Editors (BSME) Talent Awards, with a trio of shortlistings.

Carlson was shortlisted in the Best deputy editor category, Barker in the best section editor category and Peacock in the best new writer category.

The seven shortlistings follow our award success earlier this year, when Dezeen’s design and environment editor Jennifer Hahn was named Young Arts Journalist of the Year at the Chartered Institute of Journalists’ inaugural Young Journalist Awards.

This award came after an extremely successful 2024, when Dezeen won numerous awards for its editorial excellence.

Dezeen’s editor Ravenscroft was named architecture writer of the year at the International Building Press Awards, while features editor Barker was named best writer at BSME Talent Awards.

Dezeen also took home two PPA and one Conference and Event award in 2024 for our annual awards programme and partnership with Bentley.
