Dezeen Showroom: designed to reduce auditory clutter while adding visual interest to rooms, Autex Acoustics‘ Groove Duet panels make use of precision router cutting to create clean geometric patterns.

Suitable for walls and ceilings, the Groove Duet panels feature surface patterns made up of thin, angular lines. Using the optional Duet effect, the panels can be given a two-tone look, with a different base colour subtly visible through the etched lines.

The Groove Duet panels build on Autex Acoustics‘ Cube panel – a lightweight, semi-rigid acoustic panel made from compressed polyester felt – with the velour-finish Vertiface material forming the soft top layer.

The panels are available in a choice of seven different linear patterns including grid, chevron and triangle styles, which can be customised using 21 colour options for the base and 38 for the top.

Installation is made easy with optional peel-and-stick backing, and the product is also carbon-neutral, according to Autex Acoustics, with a minimum of 60 per cent recycled content in the Cube base material.

“Whether applied as a subtle pattern or an intricate 3D sculpture, Groove transforms environments into engaging and acoustically refined spaces,” said Autex Acoustics.
