Swedish designer Gustaf Westman has created a glossy pink, spiralled baguette holder, which provides an alternative way to carry skinny loaves of bread.
Westman designed the Barbie-pink baguette holder in Stockholm, where it was 3D-printed in recycled plastic.
“The material has an amazingly strong glossy surface,” the designer told Dezeen.

Similarly to a traditional handbag, Westman’s holder features a curved handle. It is connected to a spiralled body specifically designed to wrap and carry a baguette.
The product will launch in Paris this Saturday 28 June as part of Westman’s summer pop-up tour. From June to September, the designer is showcasing his colourful pieces in real European homes rather than showrooms.
“The tour will go to a lot of different places in Europe to see as many people as possible, and the pop-ups are located in real apartments to get that extra personal touch,” he explained.

“I always aim to meet the people who like my stuff rather than the industry,” continued Westman.
“So for me, it doesn’t really make sense to follow a specific schedule.”
Curvy mirrors, chubby plates and amorphous vases are among Westman’s pieces that have so far been shown in Berlin and Copenhagen and will also pop up in Amsterdam and Madrid after the Paris leg of his tour.
Architect-turned-designer Westman launched his eponymous studio in 2020 and has since become known for his vibrant furniture and accessories.

The designer recently transformed a Mercedes-Benz CLA into an all-pink concept car with an integrated tent, picnic table and wine glass holders.
Westman also collaborated with sex-positive dating app Feeld to create a playful multipurpose bed for at least three people to “explore what’s new and possible”, marking his first bed design.

Gustaf Westman will unveil his baguette holder from 28 to 29 June 2025 at 3 Rue Cunin-Gridaine, Paris, France. For more information about events, exhibitions and talks, visit Dezeen Events Guide.
