    Last chance to enter Dezeen and Bentley's Radical Renewal Competition

    Dezeen and Bentley‘s Radical Renewal Competition closes for entries at midnight on Wednesday. Enter before the deadline for the chance to win up to £15,000.

    The competition is free to enter for anyone over the age of 18 and invites architects and designers to revitalise historic buildings.

    Contestants should propose transformative ideas that balance old and new, honouring a building’s heritage while introducing contemporary changes that enhance its social and environmental sustainability.

    Contest seeks innovative proposals

    From an iconic landmark to an overlooked building in need of revival, entrants are free to choose any existing building and propose how it could be renovated or retrofitted.

    Design should be draw on Bentley‘s heritage of expert craftsmanship and technological innovation.

    £30,000 prize money up for grabs

    Competition entries will be judged by a panel of designers and journalists from Bentley and Dezeen, who will select the finalists and determine the overall winner.

    A shortlist will be published on Dezeen in September 2025, with the finalists and winners revealed later in the month.

    The winner will receive a top prize of £15,000, while the runner-up will receive £10,000 and the third-placed entrant will receive £5,000.

    How to enter

    Entrants must produce visualisations depicting their concepts, along with supporting text to describe their idea explaining how it meets the brief.
