    Simon Allford, Giorgia Lupi and Norman Teague revealed as Dezeen Awards 2025 judges

    Architect Simon Allford, interior designer Alexandra Donohoe Church and designers Norman Teague and Giorgia Lupi have joined the judging panel for Dezeen Awards 2025.

    Dezeen Awards, in partnership with Bentley, champions the world’s best architecture, interiors and design. With just two days left to save 20 per cent on entry fees, time is running out to submit your projects.

    Enter by 26 March at 23:59 London time for a chance to win and gain international recognition!

    Allford will judge this year’s architecture entries

    British architect Allford, who co-founded Stirling Prize-winning studio Allford Hall Monaghan Morris (AHMH) will judge this year’s architecture entries alongside Carol Ross Barney.

    Alongside co-leading the studio, Allford is also a trustee of the London School of Architecture and a visiting professor at universities including Harvard and The Bartlett. He was formerly the president of the Royal Institute of British Architects, where he initiated the House of Architecture project.

    Notable projects include Facebook’s London headquarters and a shipping-container housing development in the USA. More recently the studio revealed plans to convert a 1950s office building into co-living spaces near London’s iconic Barbican.

    Giorgia Lupi works for Pentagram
    Lupi creates data-driven visuals across print, digital and environmental media

    Joining the design panel is Pentagram’s Lupi, a graphic designer who creates engaging data-driven visuals across print, digital and environmental media.

    Through her vibrant designs, Lupi has collaborated with leading organisations such as tech companies Google and IBM, non-profits including the World Health Organization and United Nations, as well as cultural institutions MoMA, TED and Triennale Milano Design Museum.

    In 2022, she received the National Design Award from the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum.

    Norman Teague will judge this year's design entries
    Teague has exhibited his work at the Venice Architecture Biennale and MoMA

    Chicago-based Teague is the founder of Norman Teague Design Studios and will sit on this year’s design judging panel.

    Teague crafts furniture informed by his heritage and South Chicago’s local community. Notable designs include the Anna and Frederick Douglass pavilion at the 2023 Chicago Architecture Biennale, an installation exploring global attitudes toward recycling at the Venice Architecture Biennale and an exhibition named Jam Sessions at the MoMA.

    His work has been showcased at galleries including Rossana Orlandi and the Art Institute of Chicago.

    Alexandra Donohoe Church runs interior design and architecture studio Decus
    Church is the founder of interior design and architecture studio Decus

    Creative director of Australian architecture and interior design studio Decus, Church will join this year’s interior panel.

    Based in Sydney, the studio focuses on residential interior projects and incorporates bespoke furniture, lighting and joinery in each design that celebrates artisanal crafts.

    Her work has been featured in leading publications including Vogue, Architectural Digest and Elle Decoration.

    Two days left to save 20 per cent

    There are just two days left to save 20 per cent on your entries. Don’t miss out on this special offer and submit your projects by 23:59 London time on 26 March.

    For individuals and companies with 10 employees or fewer, it costs £100 per category entry. For companies with more than 10 employees, it costs £200 per category entry.
