Dezeen Showroom: German brand Villeroy & Boch has published a selection of its streamlined bathroom fittings, fixtures and furnishings on Dezeen Showroom.
Bathroom solutions brand Ideal Standard – a sub-brand of Villeroy & Boch – has released a collection of bathroom fittings named La Dolce Vita.

Containing sinks, bathtubs, toilets and bidets, the range was created by Italian designer Roberto Palomba and is united by a glossy white finish typical of traditional porcelain.
Despite their differing functions, all of the collection’s products were designed to have a sculptural quality, instilled through outward-tapering edges and asymmetric forms.

The brand’s Antao basin has a biomorphic shape informed by dew drops – an aesthetic that was masterminded by design studio KaschKasch.
Three differently-shaped sizes comprise the range, which Villeroy & Boch intends to be used in tandem with its Antao taps.

Ideal Standard – a sub-brand of Villeroy & Boch – has launched the Alu+ shower system, an all-in-one fixture that combines showers, temperature control and storage.
A central upright comprises rain and handheld showerheads as well as twist controls and slim shelves for storing products and accessories.

Faceted detailing at the bottom of the Octagon basin is disguised by a smooth, minimalistic exterior, available in either white or black colourways.
Original created with high-end hotels in mind, the surface-mounted sink – made from Villeroy & Boch’s own TitanCeram ceramic material – can also be used in residential bathrooms.

The brand’s Artis surface-mounted washbasin is also made out of TitanCeram, but can be customised with a choice of 10 bright colourways.
Four shapes and sizes can be selected from, all of which sit atop the bathroom counter.

Another product resulting from collaboration between Palomba and Ideal Standard, Solos showering solutions are defined by a ring of light integrated into the circular shower head.
Users can change the colour of the illumination to create mood lighting, and the fixture is designed to be used in conjunction with the brand’s other products to create a cohesive bathroom scheme.

Villeroy & Boch is a German brand established in 1748 that now specialises in the design and manufacturing of ceramic and metallic fittings and fixtures for bathrooms.
The brand is headquartered in Mettlach, Germany and frequently collaborates with eminent designers and studios when developing its catalogue of products.
