Dezeen Showroom: New Zealand brand George & Willy has created a round-topped table that frees up floor space in cafes by attaching directly to walls via a bracket at the end of its L-shaped base.
The Wall-Mounted Cafe Table provides a space-saving alternative to classic floor standing bistro tables.
Without legs to get in the way, it also avoids visual clutter and facilitates easy vacuuming and cleaning underneath and around it.
The table has a clean and functional aesthetic that fits into many interior styles, thanks to its powder-coated aluminium materiality and black or white colourways.
George & Willy designed it with ease of assembly in mind, with just four screws securing the base to the wall and another four attaching the tabletop.
The brand suggests that table can be used not just by cafes but by anyone wanting to carve out a miniature dining nook within a small home or business.
The table can be used indoors or out and is available in a choice of two sizes.
